My wife just registered through Bank of America to get online access to her government credit card …
“Your EAGLS user ID and passcode will be mailed to your statement mailing address via US mail. You should receive your ID in 7-10 business days.”
Not only does it seem that they don’t trust the government email system but they are also taking the concept of “snail mail” literally. It seems that they are actually writing the user Id and password on the shell of a real snail and dispatching it Colorado-bound. We’d better all pray for the use of an indelible marker, mild weather, a lack of crows for the next two weeks.
