The children! Won’t somebody think of the children!?

  2. EJ Says:

Obviously, the correct answer is “squeal”

  3. Kevin Says:

    see-qwel

  4. Donald K. Burleson Says:

    Well, go to the creator.

    Ted called it S-Q-L, so help me Codd . . . . .

  5. William Robertson Says:

Just wait till they get onto Bee-lobs.

  6. carlosal Says:

    ‘Ese-Ku-Ele’ (in spanish) ;)

    Cheers.

    Carlos.

  7. Brian Tkatch Says:

I use SQL because the predecessor was SEQUEL “Structured English QUEry Language”. Strangley enough, IBM’s documentation uses “an SQL”, showing how they pronounce it.

  8. Anne Onimos Says:

    “suckle”

  9. David Weigel Says:

I’m pretty schizoid about it. “sequel server”, “s-q-l plus”, “sequel developer”, “s-q-l” (alone), “sql worksheet”.

  10. Grebo Says:

I have always called it SQrL (as in the animal that eats nuts)
